Totally free life coaching

Phase Two: Physical  |  Step Two: Locus of Control

Do you believe you have control over yourself, your body, your mind?

Do you believe you have control over events and things outside of your body?
Do you believe you have control over things beyond your reach?

In other words, where is your locus of control?

What kind of person always blocks a suggestion with ‘but I can’t…’?
Where is their locus of control?

When were you last proactive or pre-emptive in starting or preventing something?

What could you be more proactive in?
What could you pre-empt? How would you feel if you were to pre-empt it?

How does it feel to be in control? How does it feel to be out of control?

What can you change but you don’t?
What can’t you change that you’d like to? Why not?
Would anyone disagree with you on this? Who would and why?

Why do some people think that things happen due to forces outside of human control?

This is an antiwebsite, without logos or promos, without subscriptions or sign ups, so totally anonymous to use. As life coaching should be free. Here you will find life coaching guidance for free, as scaffolded prompts for chats, based on a careful merger of the 'Nine Boxes' (Susan Jeffers of ‘Feel the Fear…’ fame), Bloom’s Taxonomy of Thinking, the Circles of Concern (popularised by Covey’s ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’) and the Socratic Method (as repackaged by Simon Sinek's 'Start With Why' and Francesca Gino's 'The Power of Why' which sit with the practice of Cartesian Doubt).
