Totally free life coaching
Phase Three: Mental & Ethereal | Step Two: Escape
What do you do to escape? Why do you escape?
When you seek hedonistic pleasure, are you avoiding something?
Is there some pain or shame, awkwardness or fear,
or even a secret that gets hidden or supressed, when you are escaping?
Can addictive pleasures be useful? Can they save lives?
Are you addicted to pleasure or pleasure seeking? Is pleasure your only goal?
Are you afraid of losing the pleasures you enjoy?
It is often said that the sofa is the most dangerous thing in life; who’d say this and why? Do you agree?
Is addiction the fault of the habit itself, or its producer, or the consumer? Why?
Do you know anyone who is addicted to any substance or behaviour or device?
What would be useful to help them?
Who would disagree with you and why?
This is an antiwebsite, without logos or promos, without subscriptions or sign ups, so totally anonymous to use. As life coaching should be free. Here you will find life coaching guidance for free, as scaffolded prompts for chats, based on a careful merger of the 'Nine Boxes' (Susan Jeffers of ‘Feel the Fear…’ fame), Bloom’s Taxonomy of Thinking, the Circles of Concern (popularised by Covey’s ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’) and the Socratic Method (as repackaged by Simon Sinek's 'Start With Why' and Francesca Gino's 'The Power of Why' which sit with the practice of Cartesian Doubt).
